Minority Women and Property Rights in India and Bangladesh: A Comparative Study

This paper examines the voices of Muslim and Hindu women in India and Bangladesh against the unequal clauses of property rights in their respective personal laws and customary practices, as well as against state-and community-level repression through a study of law and policies that have been denying both minority women’s property entitlements.
